Vera Sheaf

Originally trained as a painter with a degree in Fine Art from Reading University,
Vera has explored printmaking techniques in recent years.
She finds these two ways of working complementary.
A studio based artist, her inspiration comes mainly from landscape.
Many quick drawings are made on the spot which become
transformed by time, memory and process.
During the art weeks Vera will be showing new paintings, prints and collages
celebrating colour, composition and mark making.
Imagery inspired by surprising spaces in the artists environment.
More of Vera's work can be seen at www.verasheaf.co.uk
We will both be present during this open studio event
and there will be daily demonstrations.
Cards, books and work will be on sale.
